BLACK LIVES MATTER

Each year for the last 3 years I’ve been involved in an elopement ‘giveaway’.
It’s not just a styled shoot - it’s getting hitched - in real life.
I’ve joined up with a team of kick arse creative wedding vendors and we’ve put together some super epic elopements that have been beyond what I could have ever dreamed of… 

This year will be no different.

And with the way our world is, I feel this is as important as ever…  

I am trying to educate myself and find the best way that I can help to make a difference.
I know that being white, I will never experience anything other than privilege and hope I never take that for granted. 
I don't have a whole lot of control over the couples that find me.. I try and portray the type of people I think I would work best with... but that doesn't show the whole story… because my feed IS predominantly white people and so that doesn't show that I actually don't care what colour your skin is and what colour the skin is of the person you're marrying.

So as a start to make a change, we’re supporting #blacklivesmatter and this year's elopement will be specifically for any BIPOC couple - whether it be that you both identify as being BIPOC or just one of you.

Now I do have a location in mind…. it would require an adventurous couple, relatively fit, and ready to get your feet wet … (potentially literally AND definitely figuratively)
